Iphone 4s email photos

just bough and Iphone 4s with IOS6, we use this phone for work. This is my question when i take a photo in Portrait mode of a jobsite when i email it the image either comes in upside down or to the side, is there anyway to get in received them in portrait ?

just rotate the photo in the photo app. click edit in the corner. Then send it
