iPhone 4S having serious network issues

My phone switches from AT&T logo with full bars to no bars to no service while still in the same place. Also, my 4G icon will turn on and off at will. What can I do???

man i am in the same boat even said off network 3g and no bars. i hate it because it makes my bill higher.

i havent experienced the 4g icon

hope somebody can help us
