Iphone 4S Help!?

I just got my iphone 4s and im in the activation phase and it keeps saying couldnt activate phone, why is this and is anyone else having issues?

Yes. I would imagine it is because everyone else trying to activate theirs at the same time. Just keep trying.

Just received mine from Apple for a new Verizon line on my account.

Problem is they used my daughters phone number on family plan as I requested new number. If I say activate it will disable my daughters line.

Ughh - anyone else have this issue?

Tried a few times now, and it keeps saying it takes 3 mins to activate, then times out after about 5. They say an email will be sent, but that could take hours. No intention on waiting that long, so I'll keep hammering the server like everyone else.

Right, because that's the answer - continually bashing the server with requests. All that does is increase the risk of everything crashing.
