iPhone 4S Home Button Not Working Properly

My beautiful, white, two day old iPhone 4S's home button isn't working properly. It will take me back to the home screen from an app, but it won't close my folders or take me to the spotlight search. Is anyone else having similar problems? Or know any fixes?
