I have a iPhone 4S am wondering if it's worth spending $20 on the new Otterbox Commuter case given the fact that I already have a older version of the same case.

My main concern is the so-called white wash flash problem due to the smaller cut for camera lens in older Commter case.

Has anyone tried taking a photo of the same object/scene with their 4S in old and new Commuter cases and noticed any difference?

the camera cutout is one issue. i was on amazon last night and purchased the Commuter made for the 4, which is what i have. then, after reading reviews, i canceled the order and bought the one for the 4S. apparently the two cases are totally different designs on top. the older one for the 4 has a sharp point where the shell sits above the ear piece. this was redesigned for the 4S one. this was enough to sway my decision.

here is the old one....see the sharp edge??
