Do you own an iPhone 4S? And do you wanna know how it’ll perform with iOS 9.1 Beta installed? Here’s
your chance to find out. This review is on iPhone 4S’s performance with the first beta version of iOS 9.1,
which will be released later in November this year.

As iPhone 4S was released in the year 2011, it is the slowest iPhone available today that can run iOS 9.1
Beta. The interesting fact here is that Apple has continued to provide software updates for this device
up to today. When the test was conducted, the startup took quite a long time as expected. Some lag was
seen in opening the app store and while navigating inside the app store.

Even the app search option that appears when you swipe down from the app menu also lagged in
function. But surprisingly the multitasking screen operated smoothly without any disturbances. Overall
performance of the smartphone with iOS 9.1 Beta is in a usable state although some lagging is present.
So if you think your iPhone 4S can handle iOS 9.1 Beta, install it right away and enjoy the new wallpapers
and also the cool new emojis.

I hope you like my video - I'm thinking about doing more reviews on older versions of IOS.

I have OS9.1 on my 4S and it is pretty much as your video describes, the search lag seems slower on your video than my iPhone 4S - my search opens quite quickly on my model.

The lock screen requires multiple swipes on my phone - but that may be due to cracked glass on the front of my phone - dropped it a year ago and cracked the front glass.

The battery does not last a full day ( with heavy use) but seems better than it was on 8.4 and also better than 9.0 - it heats up less too

iOS 9.1 is a definite improvement.
