New to iPhone so still trying to gauge what to expect from it.

Unplugged from charger at 7am this morning.

100%

Light usage. A few called. Some browsing. Wifi on. Data on. Bluetooth on.
A short stint of Satnav.

7pm now

At 34%.

Is this normal battery performance?

cheers

:)

yes and no..
Search for batterygate thread..
My Battery life is similarly terrible to yours..
Going for replacement today.

Thanks for the reply - could you pls. be a bit more specific:

What should it be?

Is this a recall / replace issue?

Where is the specific info on that thread...it's pretty big!!

Thanks

That sounds like pretty great battery life to me. You're talking 12 hours without charging, and you used Bluetooth the whole time, and you had some gps/mapping going on, and you still have 1/3 of your battery life left?

That means you'd probably get another 4 hours out of it before it died..going from 7am to 11pm sounds good to me. Even one chance to charge for something like 20 minutes sometime throughout the day and you could go on for a pretty late night without it dying.

Don't listen to others who say this is terrible battery life..it is good for ANY phone (if I took my windows phone off the charger at 7am it'd be near death by 9 or 10 and that's without Bluetooth and gps)

Are these read-out accurate?

Doesn't seem too good if they are.
