I'm having issues with my black iPhone 4S (32 GB, Black, Verizon). When I put the phone on speaker no one can hear me, but I can hear them. Assuming this is a hardware issue, and Apple will swap my phone, does anyone know if they could possibly swap it for a white one?

Most likely not. If for some reason they are out of the black configuration of your phone, MAYBE they'll give you a white one. Don't get your hopes up, though.

How long have you had the phone? If you are still within the return period then return it and get a white one. But they won't swap your black for a white one under warranty issues.

I would bring it to Verizon and show them the prob, and after they agree to replace it, ask for a white one instead.

You could also call stores in advance and go to one that is OUT of your black 32g replacement ;)

Alright, thanks. I got the phone when it came out new from Verizon...so I'm assuming it's a no go for a return.

If they could they would if and only they ran out of your model. But the system won't let them do it.

just get a white overlay if you want a white phone so badly. I had second thoughts after ordering my black one (for just a minute) and contemplated returning it and getting a white one but then found a plethora of online vinyl shops that have all sorts of colors to "transform the color of your phone.
