I am a bit puzzled as to why a jailbreak is taking this long to arrive for the iPhone 4S since the phone has been in the market for more than a month.

Perhaps, I am not patient enough. But, on one hand, we hear that an unlock for the iPhone 4S is near. It has always been the case that a jailbreak arrives first, trailed eternally by an unlock if the latter ever becomes available.

Does anyone know really where we stand on the iPhone 4S jailbreak?

Perhaps it is delayed because you are sitting on your butt asking the silly questions instead of working on it yourself. Or if you don't know what kind of working through trial and error one line of code at a time looking for openings that it takes to jailbreak the iPhone 4s, then you obviously have no idea what it takes to jailbreak it.

If the people working on the jb spent their time explaining to every person who decides to create a redundant thread on the same topic, they will never get it done!:cool:
