Hi,

My 4S works perfectly until about 20 to 30 minutes after booting, at which point incoming calls and texts begin to fail (calling my number will just go to voicemail), shortly afterwhich I also lose outgoing service for calls and texts.

Interestingly, 3G data remains unaffected and works perfectly throughout. However overnight it appears that this also fails, and the past two days I've woken up to a "No Service" carrier logo.

Removing and replacing the SIM always seems to remedy the issue, while a reboot of the handset sometimes does, and sometimes does not.

I have tried the SIM in two other handsets (one iPhone 2G and one Nokia, but not another iPhone 4/4S - I put the micro SIM in to a full SIM adaptor) and I receive flawless service for as long as I like, eliminating a faulty SIM from the equation.

Has anybody seen or heard of a similar issue on an iPhone of any generation before?

I have a Genius Bar appointment for this evening but thought it was worth asking around before hand.

Thanks in advance.
