Iphone 4s No Service / Searching !!!! Please Help

When my Iphone 4s Was running on ios7.1.2 ..due to fast charge consumption i Erase All content Setting on iphone ..the process did not complete for several Hours then i had rebooted from erasing...after that i have only searching for and no service on my status bar.. So i updated,to ios 8.1.1 but problem Still continues
When i switch carrier to manual searching.. I can find all towers near by me...even if i select carrier manually i still get no service..on automatic it keeps searching for carrier then goes to no service and phone heats a bit... Please help me

Is the sim ok? I mean, have you made sure there is no issue with the sim?

I would plug it to iTunes and do a full restore.
Not update.

The,sim Has No issue It Works Perfect on Other Device ...I did try to restore rather than update...since,the update ios8 have been released..i cannot restore to current ios..and tells me update and restore..so did like wise

Then plug it and do a restore and update and setup as new.
Don't restore from backup.

Hmmm...are your network settings correct? Based on your carrier, google the settings you should see and then try manually entering them.

Ok, at this point I am guessing that there is some firmware issue with the phone (kinda likely). Genius bar appointment might be best unless someone else can chime in with other things to try.
