So my iphone 4s will not absolutely play any sound. I restored it and did everything. There is no sound bar to see if the volume is getting louder or quieter. Its starting to bug me and ive called apple and they were no help. The version is 5.1.1. So if anyone out there has had this problem and fixed please help!!

I had this problem yesterday. Don't need to restore it. Clean out of the headphone jack. Lint and dust from your pocket sometimes gets in there which makes your phone think its connected to a peripheral. Clean both the headphone jack and dock connector. The headphone jack can be cleaned with a cutip, and the dock connector with an old tooth brush. Also blow them out with compressed air. It'll start working.
