iPhone 4S noise cancellation option missing

I read severals posts that there is an option for disabling noise cancellation in accessibility section. However I do not see it in the iPhone 4S. Is it a iPhone 5 only feature?

I believe it's an iPhone 5 only feature as it has the required third microphone

The iPhone 4 had noise cancellation using the mic next to the headphone jack.

That's the main microphone. iPhone 5 has another microphone by the earpiece and then another by the flash.

Not according to 2010 WWDC. When introducing it, he said a second mic by the headphone jack for noise cancellation. The main mic should be at the bottom, next to the 30 pin port.

I'm well aware the iPhone 5 has three mics.
