iPhone 4S not pairing up with Bluetooth

I have a iphone 4s and the battery went dead. I bought a new battery and the kit to change the battery. I changed the battery and everything works except the pairing of the bluetooth. It's the same bluetooth I was using before with the same phone and had no problems.Why would it not work now?
