I have played music on my iPhone 4S and when I plug it in to iTunes the playcounts etc don't change so it looks as if I haven't played any music at all.

It also always transfers 17 things to do with Genius

Anyone know how to solve this?

Edit: On Wi-Fi Sync it says:

"My Mac
Apps"

It looks like that is all that it will sync. Can anyone help with this?

When you plug it into iTunes did you look at the sync settings for music?

I restored it from my iPhone 4 (updated to ios5) and had no options. I always manually manage my music and videos though. I think this may have something to do with it but every other iPhone/iPod/iPad that I've had automatically synced the music also when plugged in to update Last Played etc

Can anyone help?

EDIT: It seems to take in to account songs that I have played through iTunes on my iPhone but not any songs that I have played outwith iTunes (e.g. just on the iPhone)
