I have been listening to a lot of podcasts on the way to work lately. I don't have an AUX hookup so I've just been using the iPhone's stock speaker at full volume.

I was using it today and noticed a cracking in the audio. I thought it was the app so I restarted phone but it still did it and did it on other apps. I then tried to listen to a voicemail over the "speaker" and I got the same crackly audio response.

It sounds like a blown speaker. Is it possible to blow out an iPhone speaker? If it is blown what will Apple do considering I didn't get Apple Care?
