OK...here we go ( again?? ): my 4s will run for several hours, playing stored videos / running the stopwatch / listening to music /eyc.

HOWEVER: after it's completely charged ( after battery calibration ) and simply turned left off, this Little Sweetie will start to discharge at an AMAZING RATE...after a few hours, it will be down to 70% or so.

How can it be that this 4s will use-up its battery more quickly when OFF, than when ON??

Thanks for re-visiting an Old Issue!

Michael.

If it were only that simple...alas ( from what I've experienced, and read about...) there seems to be a hardware issue that draws battery power at an excessive rate when the 4S is turned-off. A number of users when the phone was the 'current issue' mentioned this, and I've been unable to discover if there was an answer(s) from Apple that addressed the situation.
