I am in an area with what should be a strong 5-bar signal, but sometimes when I wake my 4S from sleep it shows 2-3 bars, and occasionally 1 bar. I come from using a large amount of Android phones which all seem to have connectivity issues to some extent so it's concerning to me.
I purchased this phone off craigslist a couple months ago and it's otherwise like-new / perfect. A member on the Apple forums told me that this was normal behavior but it seems so bizarre, does anyone here have any idea why this happens? (I'm also running iOS 6.0.1 and I've never seen this phone run anything lower than iOS 6.0)
