Has anyone succesfully downgraded their 4s firmware to be able to jailbreak it or is this remotley possible?

I would imagine it's not possible at all. You'd need blobs from previous firmwares to downgrade to it. The 4S have never seen anything lower than iOS 5, so it wouldn't have blobs.

Good one, there was never any prior firmware released for the 4S besides 5.0 and you cant use an iphone 4 4.3.3 firmware for example to install on a 4S.
It wont accept it or work since its different hardware.
No possible for many many reason....First no possible to had old SHSHs for a 4S since Apple stop signing old firmware way before 4s was release.
Even if you magically get those SHSH (again not even possible) but even on the case that you got it from a wizard, older firmware don't have support for the 4s hardware... since..well....you should guess it by know..those firmware were released before the 4S.
Thats horrible news considering i dumped my andriod phone im wishing for some girly customization :-( guess ill wait for a jailbreak (sigh)

Come on.... if people would read or ask question before they buy, what would i do with my spare time, this forums and half of the internet would be gone.
I read it and my household has two ip4's but some sights were advertising jailbreaks and the att guy with his jailbroken phone told me i could do it so i was semi- nieve but thanks for everyone who explained

siri (whiner it worked) kept me captivated for the whole of 4 days.. but really missing all my old loves like my-wi /sbs/ blacklist/ infini-doc
i wonder if a JB never arises for the ip4s - will this drastically effect ip5 sales- as i will most likely move to android for my next phone...
