I have a iPhone 4s running iOS 5.1.1. Is it possible to stop the browser from reloading webpages that have remained open in a tab for a day or two? Sometimes I'd like to resume reading an article and if I have poor reception the tab will go white while the phone desperately attempts to reload the page. Hitting the back button also forces it to reload the page.
Similarly, Safari tends to load text before pictures which I appreciate. However, if I'd like to start reading an article and safari takes a few minutes to load the page, it repeatedly pops back up to the top of the page as various page items are loaded making you lose the spot at which you were reading.
Is there anyway to fix these two issues?
