My brother recently gave me his IPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.1. The power button is stuck and sometimes when I'm downloading an app, it just stops with the message "App store connection has been lost" or "[app name] can't be downloaded at this time." After I press retry , it continues the download, but if the file is too big, the message appears again.
It looks like the connection suddenly stops, restarting a few seconds later. I don't know if this is due to a wi-fi antenna failure or something else. I want to check the software and hardware before sending it to repairs, but I don't know how to find the reason of the problem.
