According to Nu.nl T-Mobile announced today that the iPhone 4S will be available to pre-order from the 21st of October.

Still no word from Apple themselves however on when pre-orders can be made through the online Apple store.

T-Mobile are quoting the price of the loose handset as €639.95, €749.95 and €859,95 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB phones respectively. These prices are currently €10.95 higher than prices quoted on Apple's French and German sites.

It would appear that for once those in the UK actually have a good deal. The 16GB retails for £499 which equates to approximately €575 (approximately 10% cheaper). What's interesting is that the difference in price between the iPad in UK and European stores is nowhere near as great.

I wonder if Apple will do preorders for us at all. They did preorders with the iPad 2 in the US and UK but not in Ireland and the other third-tier launch countries.

Especially considering they've sold 4 million of them already I'd say their stocks would be pretty low at the moment.
