iPhone 4S Refund Period?

I have purchased it on 8th of January. On the 20th or so I got a replacement, due to problems with the screen on my first one.

I plan to bring it to the apple store, with all packaging. Will I get a refund?

And do they need a reason for it? I'm planning on saying it's because it has a roving bug.

The device doesn't have any scratches, but there's a dent on the box.

So will I get a refund or should I sell it on ebay?

In the US, I believe you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your iPhone.

I would come up,with something other than a "roving bug"!

If it is under 30 days they will take it back no matter what and it should not matter that you got a replacement.
 
If you're not happy and are within the return period, they'll give you a refund. Bring your receipt and all the packaging as you stated. I don't think Australia has less then 30 day refund policy so you should be ok in that respect.

Tell them it's because of the roving bug and you can be sure they'll take you into the back room and swiftly fly you out to an undisclosed location.

So whatever you do, DON"T LET THEM KNOW YOU'RE ON TO THEM.

Use any other excuse to return it but that. Stay safe brah and keep the safe room toasty.

I will be returning my 4S, but I'll still keep by 4 as it doesn't have the roving bug.
 
As much as the OP is hated, I can understand why he does not want a phone that could possibly track we he is!:eek:
 
OP - i suggest you wrap it in foil while you are on your way to the apple store. Otherwise the satellites will be able to track your every move and apple store will know ahead of time and will not issue you a refund.

On another note - OP have u actually thought about the possibility that you are under investigation and there is a warrant out for your Roving bug issue? May be its time for a lawyer?

You should get rid of your 4 too because the roving bug isn't in the hardware. It's a software code. They'll probably come to your house because you got rid of your Ip4. Let us know what they say when you're returning your 4s due to paranoia. :p
 
This is actually true of jut about any phone out being sold out there at this point.

If this guy REALLY has issues with roving bugs, returning the iPhone 4S isn't going to solve his little problem.
