Iphone 4s ringtones

and i was wondering how I put my own ringtones on my Iphone. I know there is a way but its very complicated. I want to know the most simple. NEED HELP!!!!!charlesdayton

Not complicated at all. Just download compatible ringotones on your PC, doubleclick the file and it will appear in iTunes under Tones. Next time you sinc your iPhone they will be transfered.

The iTunes method isn't that complicated though. It sounds more complicated when it is when every step is written out but it's fairly straightforward if you think about it. You're basically just using iTunes to trim your audio file, convert to to AAC, renaming the resulting file to m4r, importing the m4r and syncing.

If the ringtones show up in iTunes but not on your phone it could be because the Artist field of the tone is blank. Just right click on them in iTunes and set the Artist to something (e.g. Unknown) then re-sync.
