iPhone 4S screen doesn't shut off

Hi, my wife has a 4s and maybe I am missing something. After a call or anything actually that will activate screen, the only way we can get screen off is to hit the sleep button. This is a replacement phone and I use android . Is there a setting for screen on time like android or is this an issue with the phone ? She can make a call ,end it,go to phone 10 minutes later and screen isstill on,iit's dimmed down,but still on. Any help would be great . Thank you.

Settings>General>Auto-Lock. It's probably set to never.
