Iphone 4s screen flickers at certain brightness

I just replaced my iPhone 4s with a chrome lcd+digitizer replacement. The screen works fine the only problem is that at a high brightness level the screen starts to flicker at the top and bottom. When I turn the brightness down, the phone works perfectly fine. What could the problem be?

Either too much power is used by the new components, or some of your LED backlighting is defective.
