Hello everyone, I recently tried to replace the screen of my iPhone myself. I ordered a screen from Amazon for 20$.

When the new screen was installed, I powered up the device but the screen stayed black. I tried to push the sleep/wake button and the home button for 20 seconds. The screen lit but all it produced was a multi-colored ring with black spots in the center and black around the edges as shown in this picture :

Also the phone kept vibrating 2 times every 5 seconds when connected to the mac.

I did a hard reset from iTunes with the phone connected. On Itunes, everything worked as normal for the reset, it didn't show any errors. But on the phone it did nothing. After the reset, the phone returned to it's broken state.
Now when I try to power the phone, it does nothing.

I would like to know if the screen is at fault here (everything seems to indicate it is) or is it a worse thing like the logic board.

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1
