iphone 4s screen repair went wrong

Attempted fixing my iphone 4s screen. everything went good until the piece i was given, i realized was faulty, it was actually missing a ribbon at the top.

anyways, i put my cracked screen back on and its white-ish grey 3\4 across the screen with a yellow\green tint on the last quarter. the phone is still in perfect working condition except i can't see anything i'm doing.

what needs to be fixed? if i get another screen will it take care of the problem?

Hi im having the same problem, tried to replace my cracked screen and noticed i was sold a faulty lcd so tried to reconnect my old screen and now its green and grey vertical lines. Did you find a fix?

Hi im having the same problem, tried to replace my cracked screen and noticed i was sold a faulty lcd so tried to reconnect my old screen and now its green and grey vertical lines. Did you find a fix?

yep, i just had to replace with a new screen all fixed now!!
