Hey guys, I just noticed that when holding my iPhone 4S to a specific angle (really hard to replicate), a grid appears.

Here's my theory: I believe it's the multitouch layer of the screen that appears. I didn't appear on my iPhone 3G/3GS since the screen wasn't laminated to the display and the multitouch.

Have you noticed such a thing? Just curious...Maybe it's just a flaw idk...

That is indeed the multitouch digitizer. It appears on all of the iOS devices to date. But it's harder to see on some than others. Mostly strong sunlight and a share viewing angle are needed to see it.

Yes i have had the same issue and had mine swapped out because of it!
I booked a Genius Bar appointment and the genius took one look at it and swapped it for a brand new unit without question! I heard someone mention that a layer must have been missed of the laminating process which made it stand out more!

HTH :)
