iphone 4s sim unlocked?

The iphone 4s will be sell in USA in sim locked in ATT, but the iphone 4s can be used in other countries with any carriers.
I wonder the iphone 4s will be sell in Canada, can it be used on tmobile in USA?

It is considered a world phone because it can roam on GSM and CDMA networks. This is not the same as an unlocked device. Also, I don't believe it's compatible with T-Mobile's 3G frequencies still, although you'll only be able to use it sans data just like any other iPhone as long as it is unlocked.

We in Canada are getting the 4S in Canada October 14th on all carriers.

Yes it can be used on t-mobile for calls/txt/data over 2G/EDGE.
