Hi, I have an iphone 4s, jailbroke it successfully on 6.1.1 and operated happily for six months or so, but now the speakers act up and go out randomly. rebooting, plugging in headphones etc wont work. headphones work though, so strictly a speaker issue that seems to be software related or a loose connector inside.

I tried to restore the phone to pre jb mode, but itunes now won't let me even restore/upgrade to 6.1.3 (though I hear thats not jailbreakable?).
Any advice what to do?
I still have extended warranty but know thats void on jb phone so I'd have to at least restore to official IOS before I turn it in for replacement/repair.
Thanks!

Bottom speaker, earpiece speaker or both?

Bottom speaker. I noticed that blowing on it helped sometimes, but can't get it to work again now. Need to reinstall official iOS so I can exchange under warranty, any tips on how to do that? Jailbreak won't let me!
