I'm thinking about buying an iPhone 4s.

I want to record myself playing guitar on the iPhone 4s and then upload the video to Youtube.

I know the visuals will be good, though how about the sound?

thanks

It will be good, but it won't be the type of quality you would get with a video camera that is actually used for a video camera. If you are just making like demonstrative videos with not a lot of playing it will work just fine but if you get into a whole song with different instruments and such it will be hard for the phone to pick all of them up and still sound good.

Thanks for getting back.

Yeah it'll just be me playing (electric guitar) along with a song, with the iPhone on a stand, nothing else. Would that be ok do you think?

I mean it'll work but it just depends on how good of quality you're looking for.
