iPhone 4S speaker not working

My iPhone thinks its connected with dock, so i can hear some sounds like ring tone and people voices in call but i can't hear music, keyboard sounds because the volume disappears. Please Help , Thanks

Has the phone been water damaged at all? Sounds like it is stuck in the dock mode. I would get a toothbrush with some isopropanol (Cleaning solvent) and clean the dock connector.

Then get a QT brush (cotton buds) and clean the headphone jack - ive had this with many of phones - make sure the areas are clean with no foreign particles in there and then reset the phone (optional but I find it helps)

Clean the dock connector socket and the headphone socket. Mine was doing the same thing until I got a toothbrush and cleaned it out using that.
