iPhone 4s speeds in Long Beach area

anyone on AT&T in the Long Beach, CA area? what kind of data speeds do you get with your iPhone 4s? I was hitting 1-2 Mbps with my iPhone 4 and now see about 1-2.5 Mbps with my 4s.

Basically the speeds seem the same, and I've tried at all hours of the day.

I've been getting around 2.5-2.9 Mbps down. Not very good in my opinion. Highest I've had as been 2.95... I'm located right next to El Dorado Park.
