Resolved iPhone 4S stuck backing up while syncing. Grrr!

I have an iPhone 4S, iOS 8.0.2, OS 10.9.5 and iTunes 11.4.

It's stuck on 2 of 7 about 1/3 the way through. I've started and stopped it about 7 times. I've rebooted the iPhone. NOTHING is letting it past the backup stage so I can't sync ANYTHING.

Grrr!

Turns out it was a faulty sync wire. I switch wires and it's working.
