I have rented a 1080p movie from iTunes and I was wondering which of the following would be better for quality.

iPhone 4S to 50" 1080p TV via 30 pin HDMI adapter

or

iPad 3 to 50" 1080p TV via 30 pin HDMI adapter

Does it make a difference?
