I bought a second-hand iPhone 4S the other day and I have some issues with the touchscreen (or thats what I think). For about 2-3 times a day the area in the bottom right corner stops responding. The letter "p" and the erase button cant be pressed at all but they work about 1 out of 10-15 presses when the area is not responsive. Most of the times the issue goes away when I lock the screen and unlock it back again, but once it stayed for like 5 minutes. I want to note again that this happens only for about a minute for 2 or 3 max 4 times a day. Otherwise everything is working beautifully including that area of the screen. Is this a software or a hardware issue? I haven't retored the phone because it is currently on 6.1.2 and I don't want to lose the jailbreak but if there is someone to confirm that this may help I am willing to restore. Thanks :)

That is not a software problem. Restoring it wouldn't do much. Just must be a problem with the phone in that area. :/

I have another question. Let's say I go to one of the unauthorised repair shops (we don't have an Apple store in Bulgaria) and let them change the display. It costs more than $100 so I presume it is a quality replacement. My question is: will the screen be different from an original one. I mean the color, the saturation and the brightness, can someone please tell me how to identify if they'll change it with a good part...
