Hi all,

If I turn off the 3G and use Wifi (which is what I normally do to save battery)
and turn the phone off and on again (either through the battery running out or if I physically hold the phone off button and turn it on again) 3G will still turn on.

I've reset all network settings and even restored as a new iPhone but this problem exists.

My 4S is a White 16GB model, it is factory unlocked British version and is not jailbroken.

Could you kind folks please try this on your iPhones, turn the 3g Off, reboot the phone, check if 3G is on?

This does not occur with my 3GS.

Thanks for reading

Are you sure? I've been told by Applecare reps on the phone that it isn't. They made me restore my phone twice to no avail.

I'm going to go into an Apple Store and play about with their ones.
