My 4s (ver 7.1.2) will not connect to the net through wifi or 3g,cannot access emails,while making a call and tapping the safari button cuts the call off,tried switching airplane mode off/on,switched cellular data off and on,tried network reset,iPhone reset.I have a wifi icon and 3g icon but i get messages saying Safari cannot open pages or emails cannot connect to server,checked with a mate and all settings look the same.

Try plugging it to itunes and do a restore.
If still doesnt work then it might be a hardware issue.
