Every time I download an app(s), I get this pop-up message.

After I click OK, App(s) gets downloads fine but this is really annoying.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

I think I had something similar with app updates last month. Try downloading the apps 1 at a time. The issue I found was that I had some apps downloaded with 1 apple id and some with another, so they wouldn't update at the same time. May be similar with downloads.

Can you successfully purchase on your computer via iTunes? Perhaps your iTunes info isn't set correctly on your phone (wrong PW, old email, etc). Are you on WiFi (big apps can't be downloaded via 3G). Is the credit card in iTunes still "good"?

1. I'm only using one ID to download/purchase apps, and I have double checked this on my phone and itune.

2. I don't have my credit card information saved. I have been and still am using the gift cards I received from various occasions.

3. And I'm on WiFi

4. I can make purchases on my iphone and in itune. I just get this message on my iphone.

This started happening to me last week when I purchased a song in iTunes on my iPhone: I got the error that I was unable to purchase, but it downloaded fine. Now I get the error message every time I download an app (either free or purchaseed) or an update: everything downloads correctly, though. It is a bit annoying.

This has been happening to be for about a month or so now, but only sometimes.

The only funny I think I've done with my apple id is a while back I changed the primary email address (and therefore the "username" part) but that was months ago. I don't know if maybe those app were bought with the old Id somehow, but it's the exact same account so shouldn't make a difference.

Add me to the list of affected people. Started at about the same time
As the others, and my error is even referencing an app that's not even installed anymore. I can buy, download, or update apps just fine despite the message.
