Hey guys,

I'm sure folks in Canada remember the iPad 2 launch when they had a 'reservation system' to get the device. I did a bit of research on the Canadian retail store and found something similar for the 4s:

http://www.apple.com/ca/retail/iphone/

If you wish to purchase a SIM Free iPhone, an advance reservation is required. Limit two iPhones per transaction. A government-issued ID that matches the name on the reservation is required to pick-up your iPhone. Please arrive at the time and date selected during your reservation, otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.

Unfortunately, if you follow the link, only the 3gs and 4 are displayed as reservation options, and neither have stock.

I called 1-800-MYAPPLE, but they didn't seem to have any idea about the reservation system at all and assured me that stock would be first come, first served on Friday.

Either way, good luck to all!
