iPhone 4S upgrade discount?

If I get the iPhone 4S now, looks like its going to be expensive to upgrade to the iPhone 5 next June or October, as I'll be only 8 to 11 months into my AT&T upgrade cycle. Ok, can't wait, will get it anyway!

I was thinking the same, but I'm going to get the 4S now and let other people be the beta testers for the new iPhone 5 (assuming it's here next year). Then I'll be in the update cycle for the iPhone 5S.

It reminds me of buying the new edition of Windows only after they release the first service pack - but not when it first comes out. Remember the problems with the iPhone 4 antenna when it first came out.
