Just realized that my iPhone 4S videos are not playable on my iPad without transcoding to a lower resolution. I enjoyed that my iPhone 4 videos would load into iPhoto, then would sync to my iPad just fine, but now that the iPhone 4S has 1080p the videos won't sync. Is there an option for videos to sync at a lower resolution like there is for audio?

I don't have a solution for you, but frankly that is ridiculous. Apple of all people should have thought about this sort of integration between iPhone and iPad.

1st Gen iPad or iPad2?

iPad 2 can now pay 1080p under iOS 5. Presumably iPad 1 can't handle it due to lack of A5.

iPad 1. Yeah, I'm really disappointed I can't sync any new videos without converting them. I used to really like that all my recent photos (including videos) were on my iPad. It almost makes me sorry the 4S does 1080p. Now I have to either keep 2 versions or downgrade the videos in my library, which is extra work and defeats the purpose of 1080p. Funny thing is, I was pretty happy with 720p on my iPhone 4.
