This morning, my iPhone 4s took a little swim in a bowl of milk. It was not entirely submerged and was only exposed to the liquid for a couple of seconds. I dried it off and it seemed to be working just fine. WiFi, messaging, and camera seem to have no issue. However, the volume is not working. I can not play music or videos out loud or with headphones in. I also can only hear a phone call when it is on speakerphone. I tried drying it out with a q-tip and blow-drying it for a few minutes at a safe heat & distance. In addition to this, it will not remain off. When I power it down, it goes off and immediately turns back on. The phone is currently hanging out in a bag of uncooked rice. Is there any way to fix this (replacing the headphone jack, etc.), or is my phone done for good?

Too soon to say. Have patience and leave it in the bag of rice. It may take 48 hours to dry out. The hair dryer was not your best idea as the air can drive the liquid even deeper into the phone. On a 4 or 4s it is best to get the back off quickly and remove the battery.
