Earlier today I dropped my Iphone into the toilet for probably around 3 seconds, I immediately snatched it up and put it in a bowl of rice. Later after I managed to get the sim card out I put it in a bag of rice but noticed that the phone was on. That's my issue, I'm trying to dry out this phone but it wont stay powered off. So I don't know if I should just turn off the screen and let it sit in the rice.

So far I haven't tried to go past the lock screen on the phone because I'm too worried about touching it for too long. The screen works perfectly fine so I'm not sure how bad of a position I'm in. What could be causing it to keep rebooting after turning off? Rice in the charging port?

Hope it works out.
My cousin did the same thing last week.
Lucky a day later on rice still works ok so far.
Hope it doesnt get corroded and starts malfunctioning down the road. On not till the i5 gets here:D
