hi everyone, i have on my hands a 4s completely woking iOS 6 jailb'ed and etc etc but with bluetooth and wifi not working. I was able to fix bluetooth with the freezer trick (and used it to play some rock n' roll' to my bose bluetooth speaker) but wifi didn't budge. I was able to get my mac to make a internet sharing from ethernet to bluetooth pan, and tried to pair it, with my iPhone. (Mac runs 10.9.5, iPhone 6.1.3) it paired and the pin worked etc but when i tried to connect it it would say "Network is unavailable. Make sure network access is enabled."
I know bluetooth reverse tethering doesn't work with iPhone but it does with iPad, so I tried to find a way to allow it to connect, but failed. Is there a way to make the iPhone show as an iPad to the mac and therefore connect successfully? Or disable the iPhone check? this phone really wants to get to the net of 15' but it can't. Please help!
Let me know if any more info is required. The bt adapter is a d-link dbt-120 p/n BBT120 rev. C1 and it can pair with my iPad mini and internet works.... so its not that.
