Iphone 4s wifi problem

Use a blow dryer and slowly heat up the phone from the back side(apple logo). Once the phone shows the heat warning must cool down turn off the phone and wait till the phone is completely cooled down and it will work.
 
My 4S Wifi just stopped working one day. AppleCare said the chip was bad and replaced the phone.
 
Thanks guys ill try the blowdryer solution and i hope it will work and by the way im from croatia so we dont have any apple store here :( and i bought it in canada in their apple store and i have the box and ****
 
I dis the blowdryer solution and worked,i installed 8.1 ios and its blocking alot the wifi turned on but it needs long time to find my wifi and to connect :/ anyone has the same problem?
 
I had a replacement 4s about two years ago that the wifi stopped working. I had apple care so just got it replaced. It seems to be a relatively common issue with that model. Hope you can get it fixed somehow. Croatia is a beautiful country, by the way! :)
 
Lets say it kinda works lol but its slow in finding wifis and slow to connect to it, i can turn it on 2 days in arrow and its good but that 2 are the only problems right now :/ maybe ios 8.1 makes it work slow idk? Well yeah it is but it doesnt have apple store :(
 
Rob, if the blowdryer trick did not work, then you certainly have a problem with a wifi. The repair should cost around 30e in your country.
I had the similar problem, and the blowdryer trick works for now, but the thing is that I don't keep the wifi turned on if it is not necessary.
Btw. did you do it again after installing the ios 8.1 ?
