Hi

Just got a ATV and used the mirroring

The wifi on the iphone 4s is awful

Seems to disconnect and come back all the time. The ipad 2 I have is fine.

Anyone seeing these sorts of problems. Playing games via mirroring is plain awful

4s First Impressions

Ditto.

My experince with Wifi on the 4s is really weak. My old 4 sits next to the 4s and shows stronger signal. I walk around with both together and most of the time the 4 is stronger than 4s. I am seeing many dropouts with Internet uploads as well. None with the 4.

Also, battery is consumed very fast. Much faster than the 4.

3G signal is better than ever. I have not had a dropped call yet. Even though only 24 hours, that's a record.

Mine is lightning fast...faster then my iMac and MacBook Pro actually lol

I tried mirroring Hulu as well as nova 2 on the atv and it was too choppy and about 3 minutes in would quit altogether.

What kind of router do you have?

Mine isn't too great and I'm thinking of buying a time capsule

I've noticed wifi drops out a lot too. I have an iPad 1 and that connects to the same router with no problems.

I'm wondering if there's a 'death grip' issue with the wifi connectivity on the iPhone 4S. It definitely felt like I may have been causing it to drop by bridging some segments of the antenna, but I can't be certain. If I get annoyed enough I'll do some more scientific tests.

No grip issue. I left it streaming Hulu while not holding the phone and I was still having issues.

I had this on my 4 but since downloading the iOS 5 gm that problem has gone away.

My iPhones wifi is doing great, lightning fast, no disconnects, and averaging 17 mb/s download and 3mb/s upload
