I have been searching around the Internet for an answer and haven't found one for me yet.

So my problem is that my iPhone 4S randomly went down to 1% charge a couple of days ago and will not go any higher, and will only turn on after "charging" overnight and will still be at 1%.

I have tried different cords with different plugs and my computer doesn't recognize it when i plug it in with any cord i have.

When the phone if off all i can get on screen is this

and

I have tried a hard reset but nothing happen (holding the on/off button and home screen button at the same time, right?)

The phone is updated to iOS 6.0.1

any ideas or links that could help will be appreciated

sounds like damage to the plug connector. you may want to try and contact apple. you should still be in warranty unless you got it within the first 3 weeks of the release.
