Just want to share my observations with you guys.
I own an iPhone 4S. Before upgrading to iOS 5.1 from iOS 5.0.1, the wifi connectivity on my 4S was best on a "pure n" network according to my own testing.
After the upgrade, however, my iPhone 4S drops wifi occasionally and is sometimes extremely slow (most noticeably when streaming videos using third party apps/ downloading apps from the app store) with my 4th Generation Airport Extreme and another 3rd party wireless access point at my home.
My solution to the problem is switching the wireless mode to b/g or pure g mode, ie avoiding the n mode altogether.
Does any of you face the same problem or is it just me?
By the way, restoring/ resetting network settings/ resetting all settings doesn't seem to solve the problem
